Hello! This is Clara, a character from a comic project
I am currently working on. She is my favorite as of right now so I
decided to make a cute little website for her.
I’ve been working on this project for about 5 years now. Here I will
explain Clara’s character and her design process!
Here are some things that inspire Clara's design! She reminds me of anything blue or aqua since her ability is telekinesis. I decided that dragonflies are her animal/insect, which inspires choices I make for her design. Dragonflies show up as symbols throughout her part of the story as well. Clara is from a snowy region, so she chooses to wear a lot of layers; so far, I'm still deciding on her main outfit.
Clara's design is currently one of my favorites, but it took a couple of changes to get to what I have right now. My character creation process always starts with personality; this helps make a design that truly matches. However, 5 years ago I just drew whatever and called it a day. After learning to take inspiration from anything, it helped influence her current design and her completely different personality.

This is a redraw I made after looking at all the old drawings I used to make of her.
Two things did stay the same. Her color still remains blue, just lighter, and her
ability has always stayed as telekinesis. Her personality, on the other hand, was
more on the crazier side, and I thought it was perfect to give her a bigger weapon
despite her being
small. Clara currently
